Firmware |
gertbot binary
Rev 2.8 Binary code for Gertbot board.
You need the upload program to update the Gerbot firmware.
Also for now you have to install the qt4 libraries in order to use the upload program (sorry!)
To install the missing libraries open a command prompt window and type:
sudo apt-get install libqtgui4

The file contains drivers for the servo mode. The syntax has been tested but actual operation has not been

Gertbot Debug GUI (.tgz)
Gertbot debug GUI rev2.8, QT4 executable.
The Jessie version no longer has the QT4 libraries. To install those use:
sudo apt-get install libqtgui4
I am working on a better font. Until then I suggest you use 10 points.
Right click on the screen, at the bottom you find Desktop Preferences.
System tab: Font piboto 10. I like the "Regular" font much more then the "Light".
